1 pound ground beef, browned and drained
1 small onion, diced
1 large carrot, julienned (1 cup)
3 stalks celery, chopped
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 (28 oz) can diced tomatoes
4 cups beef broth
1 cup water
1 (15 oz) can red kidney beans, drained
1 (15 oz) can great northern beans, drained
2 tsp sugar
1 Tbsp white vinegar
1˝ tsp salt
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp basil
˝ tsp pepper
˝ tsp thyme
˝ pound Ditali pasta

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef; add onion, carrot, celery and garlic and sauté for 10 minutes. Add remaining ingredients, except pasta and simmer for 1 hour. After 50 minutes cook the pasta and then add to soup. Simmer for 5 to10 minutes and serve.
