2 eggs
1C brown sugar
1 C shortening
6 Tbsp syrup
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
flour
starwberry jam

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º.
Cream shortening and brown sugar.Add eggs and beat. Add syrup, soda and vanilla and mix well.

Add flour gradually to make a soft dough to roll. ( I like to chill for awhile) roll on floured surface.bake about 10-12 minutes. Cool then put together with jam. Store in a sealed container.
