2 lbs. lean ground sirloin beef
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped green pepper
1 cup sliced celery
4 - 15 oz. cans kidney beans
2 - 16 oz. ( 4 cups ) tomatoes cut up
1 - 6 oz. tomato paste
2 cloves garlic
1 to 1 1/2 tbsp.chili power
2 tsp. salt

Directions:
In a dutch oven cook beef, onion, green pepper and celery till meat is brown and vegetables are tender. Drain kidney beans reserve liquid. Add beans and remaining ingredients. Cover simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hours. If desired stir in some bean liquid.

1-2 cup bowl = 520 calories.
