1 lb ground beef
¼ c rice
1 egg
1 chopped onion
¼ tsp salt
1 head cabbage

Sauce
¼ c vinegar
½ c brown sugar
1 c tomato sauce
½ c raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Make deep cuts around bottom of cabbage
Gently peel off individual leaves without tearing(10-12)
Place in a large pot of simmering water to soften then drain

Mix together meat ingredients. Divide among leaves and roll gently like a burrito folding in ends and securing with a toothpick
Place in large frying pan with lid and oven proof

Mix topping ingredients adding enough water to cover cabbage rolls
Cover and simmer 30 minutes
Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes uncovered
Bake uncovered an additional 20 minutes at 350º uncovered, turning once
