Sauce:
2 15-16 oz cans petite diced tomatoes
2 15-16 oz cans tomato sauce
12 oz can tomato paste
1 lg onion diced
2-3 bay leaves
2 tsp minced garlic
½ tsp sage
½ rsp thyme
2 tsp salt
1 tsp chili piwder
2 tblsp suga

Meatballs
1¼r lb ground beef
2-3 links sausage removed from casing
¾ c bread crumbs
⅓ c dry parmesan grated
2 eggs
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion until soft
Add all tomato cans plus equal amounts of water
Add seasonings
Simmer at least 3 hours on low
Remove bay leaves

Imeatballs
Mix all ingredients and form into small golf balls and brown. Add to sauce
They do not have to be totally cooked as they will finish by adding to simmering sauce

I have altered recipe to adjust for more meatballs

Add a few chili flakes and some chopped bell pepper to sauce
Also, a great Italian cook made the best spaghetti ever and she always,added a pork chop to simmering sauce then shredded meat off the bone and add to sauce
