1 lb. navy beans
1 large onion - chopped
4 T. molasses
4 T. brown sugar
¾ cup ketchup
1 lb. salt pork - chopped
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Sort and rinse beans, soak overnight in water to cover. Next day, drain and cover with fresh water. Bring to a boil. Boil until skins slip - about 2 minutes. Drain, saving liquid. Combine beans with other ingredients. Pour into casserole dish, adding saved liquid to cover beans. Cover and bake at 300º for 5 hours. Check periodically and add liquid as needed so they don't dry out.
