1 8-ounce package cream cheese
4 ounces of sharp cheddar cheese
4 ounces of Colby cheese
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (red pepper or paprika is okay to use as a substitute)
¼ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chopped green pepper (optional) Sometimes I use canned pimentos
1 teaspoon onion salt
1 ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Grate cheese and mix all ingredients except pecans. You can mold into one large ball or couple of small balls. Roll in chopped pecans and wrap in plastic wrap and place in refrigerator until ready to serve.
Note: This recipe is very easy to double!

Every year at Christmas I make about 20 cheese balls and give them to family members along with cookies or other goodies. Many have come to expect this cheeseball. I wonder if I forgot to make cheese balls one year, what would they do? I know! Use this recipe!
