1 stick butter
¾ cup margarine
1 lb. light brown sugar
3 eggs
3 cups plain flour
¾ cup evaporated milk
2 tablespoons vanilla extract


Icing
1 stick margarine
1 cup brown sugar
¼ cup evaporated milk
1 Tsp. Vanilla flavoring
1 box powdered sugar

Directions:
Cake: Blend margarine and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, then flour and milk alternately. Add extract mix well. Pour in greased and floured tube pan. Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes at 325°.


Icing: Simmer margarine and brown sugar for 2 minutes. Then add other ingredients. Spread on cake. If too stiff add one tablespoon of hot water. Sprinkle English walnuts on top if desired. So good!
