1 pint of cooked and strained grapes
2 eggs
2 tablespoons of flour
1 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, flour, grapes, and egg yolks. Mix well and pour into uncooked pie crust. Bake at 350° for about 45 minutes or until done.
For meringue, beat egg whites until stiff, add 2 teaspoons of sugar, mix well and spread over pie. Bake at the same temperature until lightly browned.

Granny loved making these grape pies fresh, which was in September during the grape harvest. The neighbors had a muscadine grape arbor that was draped in succulent grapes. I loved helping her picking grapes. Mom would make grape jelly. Yum! Yum!
