1 c. sugar
1 c. applesauce
½ c. vegetable oil
1¾ c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. nutmeg
½ tsp. ginger
½ tsp. allspice
¼ tsp. cloves
½ tsp. salt
1 egg

Mix all ingredients together and bake in a greased loaf pan. Recipe can be doubled and baked in a larger tube pan. Bake at 350º for 45-55 minutes or until testing tool comes out clean.
