1/2 cup milk

1 tbsp. butter

2 large eggs ( room temperature )

1 cup white sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

1 cup all purpose flour

1 tsp. baking powder

1/4 tsp. salt

Place the first ( 2 ) ingredients, milk and butter into a heat proof bowl and just bring to a boil over pot of boiling water.

Take off the heat and cover with a plate.
