Country Ham
2-4 Apples Quartered
2-4 Oranges Quartered
1 20 oz. Can Crushed Pineapple
2-3 cups Brown Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Remove wrapping and place whole country ham in canner or over sized pot (cut smaller side if necessary to fit).

Add Apples and Oranges. Add water to cover and boil for 1 hour. Remove from stove.

Cover Canner w/lid and completely wrap with quilts,blankets, sleeping bags, etc. to retain heat. Leave wrapped overnight.

Unwrap and remove ham.Remove skin and take off fat. Remove bones.

Preheat oven to 325º. Mix brown sugar and crushed pineapple, coat ham with mixture.

Cook on each side for approximately 30 minutes.

Allow to cool.

Cut and wrap in Reynolds Wrap.

Mom and Dad's recipe. Amount of brown sugar and pineapple are up to the cook. I like it sweeter. Ham gets saltier with age. I prefer Clifty Farms country hams.
