⅔ c. shortening
2⅔ c. sugar
4 eggs
3 c. shredded zucchini
⅔ c. water
3 ⅓ c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1 ½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cloves
2 tsp. vanilla
⅔ c. coarsely chopped nuts
⅔ c. raisins

Directions:

mix together in large bowl :
shortening
sugar

Add:
eggs
shredded zucchini
water

Blend in:
Flour
soda
salt
baking powder
ground cinnamon
ground cloves
vanilla

Stir in:
coarsely chopped nuts
raisins

pour into pans. bake until tester-stick comes out clean; about 2 hr. cool slightly.
loosen slides ; remove from pans. cool completely b-4 slicing. to store, wrap and refrigerate- no longer the 10 days. cook at 350º.
