12 slices of white bread
3 cups of diced ham or bacon
8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
salt & pepper
6 eggs
21/ 2 cups of milk
1/2 cup melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
1. Remove crust from 6 slices of bread and butter one side.

2. Place buttered side down in a 9X13 pan.

3. Cover bread with ham.

4. Sprinkle cheese over ham.

5. Dice remaining bread and spread it over the cheese.

6. Beat together eggs, milk, and a dash of salt and pepper.

7. Pour over the ingredients that you have layered in the pan.

8. Press down with hands until all moisture is absorbed.

9. Dribble butter over all of it.

10. Cover pan with foil and refrigerate overnight.

11. Bake at 350º. 1 hour covered 15 minutes uncovered.
