2 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
½ cup vegetable oil
¼ cup milk

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400º (Grandma said that the oven could be between 400-425º)
Mix flour and salt together
In a separate bowl, add the oil and milk--DON'T STIR!!
Pour oil and milk over the flour mixture- Stir
Work the dough into a ball with your hands
Separate the dough in half
Wet down the counter
Cover with wax paper
Put each half of the dough on the wax paper and cover with another sheet of wax paper (each half is separate)
Roll the dough out thin (the size of a pie plate)
Take the top layer of wax paper off
Position the dough over the pie dish (make sure it is centered)
Line dish with the dough
Peel off the other layer of wax paper
Add the pie filling
Add the other half of the dough on top
Punch holes on top of crust or lace the dough
Crimp the edges
Bake for 20-30 minutes
Pie is ready when the crust is brown--if the edges brown too quickly, cover with foil

Grandma gave me her recipe sometime in the 90's because I had decided to bless my friends with Grandma's Grape Pie while on vacation in the Outer Banks..as you can imagine, it was a hit!! Still didn't taste as good as hers though
