5½ Cups Prepared Plum Juice
7½ Cups Sugar
1 Box Sure-Jell Pectin

Directions:
Directions:
Put plums into 6 or 8-quart sauce pan. Add 1½ cups water. Bring to boil. Cover and simmer 10 minutes on low heat stirring occasionally. Measure juice off the plums. Put juice into 6 or 8-quart sauce pot. Mix in 1 box sure-jell. Bring juice to full boil, immediately stir in sugar and bring to a full rolling boil. Boil hard for 1 minute. Quickly skim off foam. Immediately ladle into jar and seal. Let sit until cool. Makes 7 (12 oz.) jars.
