1 Medium Onion or Onion Flakes
1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 Pound Ground Beef
½ Teaspoon Salt
⅛ Teaspoon Pepper
1 Teaspoon Chili Powder
1 Cup Water
8 Ounce Package Spaghetti (uncooked) Break Into 2” Pieces
3 Cups Cheddar Cheese
2 Cans Diced Tomatoes (32 oz.) or (1 cup diced tomatoes and 1 cup tomato sauce)

Directions:

Cook meat, onions, garlic until it looses red color, drain. Stir in salt, pepper and tomatoes and simmer for 30 minutes.

Add chili powder and water…put half of uncooked spaghetti – broken up – in 9 x 13 pan – pour half of sauce and half of cheese on top of that….then spaghetti…then sauce and then cheese.

Bake covered at 325º for 35 minutes.

Uncover and bake for 15 more minutes or until brown and cheese is melted.

For a quick meal buy your favorite spaghetti sauce and add ½ jar or can of water (whichever it comes in), add hamburger, layer in spaghetti, sauce and cheese and bake.

This was one of Dustin's favorites! I usually do it the easy way and buy the sauce and layer as it doesn't take as much time.
