1 stick butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp soda
1 cup sugar
2 cups all purpose flour
3-5 very ripe mashed bananas (like you would never eat them at all). The more bananas you put, the less bready it will be. Instead, it will be more moist.
1/4 cup buttermilk
OPTIONAL-1/2 cup broken pecans, walnuts, or even almonds

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Dissolve soda in buttermilk and add to bananas. Add flour and banana mixture alternately. Add nuts if you want. Pour into greased pan and bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until toothpick is clean.
