1 medium-sized onion, chopped
3 T butter
3 T flour
1 cup half and half
1 cup chicken broth
1 small jar of pimentos, drained
1 can mushrooms, drained (fresh can be used)
1 small pkg. slivered almonds
1 big can of chicken
1 small box of Uncle Ben's Long Grain Wild Rice (original)

Directions:

Cook rice according to package. Sauté onions in butter. Add flour and the rest of the ingredients. Stir well until hot through and slightly thickened. Serve hot. Makes 4 - 6 servings.
