• 2 cups cooked chicken
• 1 can cream of mushroom soup (don't dilute it)
• ½ cup milk or chicken broth
• 1 cup chopped celery
• 1 chopped onion
• 1 T butter
• 1 can Chow Mein noodles

• 6 oz. cashews

• Heat soup and stock stirring until smooth
• Sauté the onion and celery in butter until vegetables are clear, but not brown
• Combine the soup mixture, the vegetables, and add the noodles, chicken, and cashews
• Heat and serve

Beverly got this recipe from Nanny in 1967. She used to make it on Sundays when there was going to be company. Beverly said Nanny didn’t make it often; probably because of the cost of cashews…
