8 ounces Scottish oatmeal (or oatbran)
4 oz suet (substitute margarine and shortening)
1 small onion
Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Chop onion finely.
Put oatmeal and fat in microwave safe bowl
Heat until the fat melts and add salt.
Mix onion in and stir until blended and oatmeal is no longer dry.
Stuff into bird cavity.
Add extra time for cooking a chicken or turkey if stuffed.

The rule of this stuffing is half suet to oatmeal. The size of the bird dictates the amount of stuffing.
