3 cups mashed strawberries (about 1-1/2 lbs)
1 cup sugar
1-1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 T. Ball instant pectin

Directions:
Directions:
Combine strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla in large bowl. Stir well and let stand about 30 minutes. Add pectin, 1 tablespoon at a time, stirring well after each addition. Let stand for 5 minutes. Spoon into half-pint jars, leaving 1/2 inch headspace. Put lids on jars and place in freezer. Jam will keep one year in freezer or one month in refrigerator.
