¼ Cup Butter
1 Cup Flour
3 Tbsp Hot Milk
1 Egg Yolk
Fruit for filling

Directions:
Directions:
Cut butter into flour. Combine milk and egg yolk. Pour over the flour mixture and stir to mix well.
Roll out to ⅓ inch thick. Cut in circles and put your choice of fruit pie filling or preserves in the middle. Fold over and seal by dampening with milk and mashing with fork tines. Fry in deep oil. Use powdered sugar to sprinkle on.
