1 3-lb chicken cut into serving pieces
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup white vinegar
2 - 3 heads of garlic, crushed
2 bay leaves
1/2 Tbsp peppercorns
salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:


1. Put all ingredients into a pot, and bring to boil. Simmer for half an hour.

2. Remove the chicken pieces from the pot and broil them in a pan for 10 minutes.

3. Let the sauce in the pot boil until it is reduced by half. Add salt to taste.

4. Put the broiled chicken in a serving plate.

5. Pour the sauce into a sieve over the chicken. Serve hot with rice.

Makes 4-6 Servings
