Oatmeal Scotchies Recipe

1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

1 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

3 c. oatmeal
1 bag (12-oz) butterscotch chips

In a small bowl, combine the first group of ingredients. Set aside. Cream together the butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Mix the two concoctions. Stir in the oatmeal and butterscotch chips. Place on ungreased or lightly greased cookie sheet and bake at 375 for 7-8 minutes (chewy). Or spread onto greased cake pan for bar cookies and bake for 18-22 minutes. Let cookies cool a moment on sheets.
