¼ c shortening
¼ c oleo
2 eggs
1 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1½ c flour
1 jar strawberry jam

Topping
1 c sugar
¼ c butter
¾ oz almond extract
dash salt
1 c flour (enough to make crumbly)
Directions:
Directions:
Blend together dry ingredients. Cream butter; add eggs, sugar and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Spread on flat pan. Cover with strawberry jam. Top with topping. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes or until light brown.
