5 c. flour
1 c. shortening
2 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
6 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 - 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and buttermilk. Stir in salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix in flour until dough is ready to be rolled out. Cool dough. Roll out gently. Bake in 350º oven. Do not overbake!
