1 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. flour
2/3 c. unsweetened cocoa
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. Hershey's Mini Kisses (semi-sweet)
1/2 c. coarsely chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. In large bowl, beat butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt; add to butter mixture, beating until well blended. Stir in mini kisses and nuts. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or just until set. Cool.
