Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Edith Hurta was the Tax Assessor Collector for Tidehaven ISD for many years. Until she retired at the age of 73, she had never left Matagorda County. After retirement, she was able to make a trip to Alaska. An excellent cook. If you ever find her divinity recipe, use it. She auctioned off her divinity each year to raise funds for the TISD FFA and always raised more than $400. for a platter.
