2 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup Butter flavored Crisco or 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup shortening (regular)
3/4 cups white sugar
3/4 cups brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
12 ounces chocolate chips
Nuts are optional

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, soda, and salt together in a bowl.
Cream shortening, sugars and vanilla extract together in another big bowl.
Add flour, soda and salt to creamed mixture and mix well.
Add chocolate chips and nuts.
Bake at 375 degrees on an ungreased cookie sheet for about 7 minutes..Don't overbake!
Remove cookies off of cookie sheet when they are still warm so they don't get hard.
