Ingredients:
Ingredients:
5 lb. ground beef
1 large Spanish onion chopped fine
garlic salt
8 oz. chili powder
3 oz. paprika
1/2 oz. cayenne granulated pepper (or less)
2 T. salt (or salt to taste)
12 oz. tomato puree

Directions:
Directions:
Place 5 pounds of meat in large cooking container. Add 1 1/2 quarts of water. Place container over fire, cook slowly, use potato masher. As the meat cooks, the water will evaporate and fatty grease will rise to the top of the container. Skim grease and fry onions in separate pan. After onions are brown, pour the onions into the large container of meat.
Add all seasonings to the meat while the onions are being browned.
It should take 3 1/2 - 4 hours to make the chili.
