1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter mix w/powdered sugar to crumble
1 cup sugar
3 heaping Tablspoons cornstarch
3 egg yolks
1 tablespoon butter
2 1/2 cups milk
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Set crumbled powder sugar & peanut butter aside.
Stir and cook in a double broiler (or very carefully and slowly in a pan) the next 6 ingredients until thick. Cool 5 mins.
Add vanilla
Bake a premade pie crust
Place peanut butter mixture (minus a tablespoon to sprinkle on top of pie) in pie crust.
Pour pudding filling over pb mix
Beat 3 egg whites until stiff add a little less then 1/4 tsp of vanilla
beat a little more
Spread over filling (be sure to close pie completely with meringue)
Sprinkle remaining pb mixture on top of meringue
Bake at 350 until lightly browned approx. 5-8 mins

I also use the filling recipe just for its pudding. Kids love it with chocolate chips sprinkled on each serving.
