2¼ cups flour, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup softened butter, 1 egg, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 6-oz. pkg. brickle bits

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. In large mixer bowl combine all ingredients except brickle bits. Beat at menium speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed (2-3 min.). By hand stir in brickle bits. Shape rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into 1" balls. Place 2" apart on greased cookie sheets. Flatten balls to ¼" thickness with bottom of buttered glass dipped in sugar. Bake 8-11 min.or until edges are very lightly browned.

Chocolate Chip Sugar Cookies: 1 cup of chocolate chips can be substituted for the 1 (6-oz.) package of brickle bits
