Personal Notes:
Making fudge was a Christmas Eve tradition. For several years, Julie would wait up for what seemed like an eternity for Lois to arrive at Mamaw's just so she could help make the fudge. Her favorite parts of the experience were getting to lick the hot, rich chocolate mixture from the spoon and pot after it was all poured into the pan to cool and trying to get the remnants of the Marshmallow Creme from the jar. No one was allowed to have any fudge until Christmas Day after it had cooled and was cut.

The Fantasy Fudge recipe was actually found on the back of a Marshmallow Creme jar.
