Blue Cheese Bacon Dip Recipe

3 T chopped walnuts
7 bacon slices, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 8 oz. packages cream cheese, softened
1/3 c half and half
4 oz crumbled blue cheese
2 T chopped fresh chives

Directions:
Directions:
Heat the oven to 350º

Toast the walnuts for 6-8 minutes
Cook the bacon until crisp. Saute the garlic in one T bacon drippings for 1 minute.
Beat the cream cheese until smooth, add the half and half, beating until combined. Stir in the bacon, garlic, blue cheese and chives.
Bake in a 1 qt baking dish at 350º for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with walnuts.

I baked it a little longer and put the walnuts on about 5 minutes before I took it out of the oven.
