1 cup butter
1 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
4 eggs
3 cups flour
2 teaspoons soda
1 1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup nuts
6 oz. package chocolate chips
4 cups oatmeal
Directions:
Directions:
Cream first 4 ingredients. Add eggs. Combine dry ingredients together and add to first mixture. Add nuts, chocolate chips, and oatmeal and spoon onto cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes at 375 degrees (190 C). Don't over bake.
