1/3 c. of butter flavoured shortening
1/3 c. of butter or margarine
½ c. of white sugar
½ c. of brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. of vanilla extract
1 ¾ c. of flour
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp of salt
1 c. of chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
In a large bowl, cream together the shortening, butter, and sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg and stir vanilla.
In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. Stir into creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.
Use a measuring tablespoon to form dough into balls. Place onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake 10-12 minutes. Cool a few minutes before removing from baking sheet.
Enjoy!
