1 1/2 c all-purpose flour
3 1/2 tsp. of baking powder
1 tsp. of salt
1 tbsp. of white sugar
1 2/4 c of milk
1 egg
3 tbsp. of melted butter
One package of Johnsonville breakfast sausages (maple flavoured)

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a well in the centre and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter; mix until smooth.
Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup of each pancake mixture. Brown on both sides and serve hot.
While cooking pancakes, cook sausage in a large frying pan and move around the sausages so they are cooked and brown on all sides.
Place one sausage in each pancake and fold over pancake and secure with a toothpick.
Serve with maple syrup if desired.
