Sift together…
3c sifted Pillsbury Best Enriched flour
1tsp soda
½ tsp salt Cream…
1 c butter(half shortening may be used) add gradually
1c sugar
½ c firmly packed brown sugar, creaming well.
Blend in… 2 eggs, unbeaten,
2 Tbs. water,
1tsp vanilla, beat well.
Directions:
Directions:
Add… dry ingredients, mix thoroughly. Cover and Refrigerate 2 hrs. Open 1 pkg(9oz) Rockwood Chocolate mint wafers. Enclose each wafer in about 1 Tbs. of chilled dough. Place.. on greased baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Top..each with a walnut half. Bake 375 for 10-12 min. If you use self rising flour omit the soda and salt.
