1 cup warm water
2 tbsp sugar
2 envelopes yeast

7 cups warm water
1 cup sugar
1 cup oil or lard
2 tsp salt
2 tbsp vinegar

18 - 20 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Add sugar and yeast to 1 cup warm water and let stand 10 minutes.

Add next 5 ingredients and mix. Add flour 1 cup at a time. Knead for 5 minutes. Let rise about 1 hour in warm place. Punch down and let rise again to double bulk. Shape into buns place in pans and let rise again. Bake at 375º for 15 - 20 minutes until brown.

I brush baked buns with a glaze of evaporated milk with sugar. Spread when warm with a brush.
