1 quart grape juice
Juice of 1 lemon and 2 oranges
1 teaspoon each cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice tied in a cheesecloth
1/2 dozen cloves
1/2 to 1 cup sugar, according to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Place all ingredients together in porcelain kettle and simmer for about 20 minutes. Be sure the mixture does not boil. Strain. It may be made early and reheated for serving later in the day. Serve piping hot.
