Jumbo Raisin Cookies Recipe

2 Cups raisins
1 cup butter
1 3/4 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4 C. white flour
1 tsp each of Baking powder,
soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg.
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Add 1 cup water to raisins. Bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes. Allow to cool.

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients, raisins (and water they were boiled in) and nuts.

Drop by tablespoons on greased cookie sheet.
Bake @ 375 -- 12 to 15 minutes
