Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Every year at church we had a summer ice cream social. My kids wanted me to bring ice cream, not cookies, so I found this recipe in my Red Book Cook Book. I had chosen the peppermint since it was so not bland. After several years I used a different recipe and was told by everyone there to always bring my peppermint ice cream, so I always did. Years later I was "asked" by my kids and several of their spouses to make it again for a family reunion. Betty, Emma, and Cheyenne helped me. We had fun in the kitchen.
