1/2 Cup Flour
1/4 Cup Cocoa
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/4 teaspoon Salt
4 Eggs, separated
3/4 Cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2 Tablespoon Water
Powder Sugar
1 Can (16 ounce) Coconut Pecan Frosting
1 Can (16 ounce) Chocolate Fudge Frosting

Directions:
Directions:
--Preheat Oven to 350º.
--Grease 15" X 10" X 1" pan; line with wax paper and grease again.

--In small bowl combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; set aside.
--In another small bowl, beat egg whites until foamy.
--Slowly add half of sugar, beating until stiff peaks form; set aside.
--In large mixing bowl beat egg yolks, until thick.
--Add remaining sugar and vanilla, beat until very thick.
--Gradually add flour mixture, blending well after each addition.
--Gently fold in egg whites and water.
--Spread in pan.

--Bake 18-22 minutes. Use toothpick test.

--Sprinkle towel with powder sugar.
--Invert cake on towel and remove wax paper.
--Roll cake up in towel.
--Cool completely.

--Unroll; frost inside of cake with coconut pecan frosting.
--Re-roll cake and frost with chocolate fudge frosting.
--Use fork or comb to make look like bark.

Cali Ondrako is one of my church friends that moved out west. I've enjoyed making this cake several times. Decorated it as a Tootsie Roll© also as a downed tree with Harry Potter sitting on it.
