4 Egg Yolks
1/4 Cup Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
4 Egg Whites
1/2 Cup Sugar
3/4 Cup Flour
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Baking Powder

Directions:
Directions:
--Preheat Oven To 350º

--Beat egg yolks until thick and lemon color.
--Gradually beat in 1/4 cup sugar and vanilla.

--In separate bowl beat egg whites until almost stiff.
--Gradually add remaining 1/2 cup sugar and beat until very stiff.
--Fold this mixture into the first mixture.
--Add dry ingredients folding in carefully.

--Bake for 12 minutes in wax paper lined jelly roll pan.

--Loosen sides of wax paper in pan and turn out cake onto powder sugared towel.
--Remove wax paper, Trim crust if needed and quickly roll up in powder sugared towel on fresh wax paper
--Keep rolled until cooled.
--Unroll, paper and towel.
--Spread with filling* and re-roll.
--Chill until serving.
