1½ lbs hamburger
2 cups potatoes, cubed
3 med carrots, diced
2 T minced parsley
1 bay leaf, crushed
⅛ t garlic powder
1 t worcestershire sauce
¾ c diced celery
1 T sugar
2 c tomato juice
1½ c water
2 t salt
¾ c soup mix (see below)
pepper to taste

Brown hamburger. Mix all ingredients and simmer 1½ to 2 hours.

FYI - soup mix - contains split green peas, alphabets, pearl parley,, lentils, long grain rice, onion flakes
