1 cup butter
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
3 eggs
3 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 º. In a large bowl, cream shortening, peanut butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture and mix well.
Roll into 1 ½ inch balls. Place 3 inches apart on baking sheet sprayed with Pam.
Flatten with a fork dipped in sugar.
Bake 10 - 15 minutes.
Remove to wire racks to cool.

Yield: 3 dozen
