3/4 Cup Shortening
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Sugar
1 Egg
1/4 Cup Water
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 Cup Flour
1 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
3 Cups Oats
1 Cup Raisins or Butterscotch Chips

Directions:
Directions:
--Preheat Oven to 350.

--Place Shortening, both sugars, egg, water and vanilla in bowl and beat.
--Add flour, salt, soda and oats, mix until well combined.
--Stir in raisins or chips.
--Drop by teaspoon on to cookie sheets.

--Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes.
