4 qts. sweet apple cider 2 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. ginger 1/2 tsp. cloves 3 qts. apples, pared and chopped (about)
Heat cider and simmer until only 2 quarts are left. Add the rest of the ingredients and heat to boiling; turn down and simmer, stirring frequently. Simmer until no liquid seperates or pools. Put in pints and process about 10 minutes.
