1 1/2 lbs halibut
2 slices lemon
2 slices onion
1 sprig parsley
several peppercorns
Place all in salted simmering water. Cover and simmer 8-10 minutes, or until halibut is done. Drain. Flake poached fish; discard skin and bones. Reserve a small amount of halibut for garnish.

1 cup rice, cooked
1/4 cup butter
3/4 cup chopped onion
2 minced garlic cloves
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. garam marsala
1/8 t. crushed red pepper
2 hard cooked eggs, sliced
2 T. chopped parsley

Sauté onions and garlic in butter. Add flaked halibut, cooked rice, salt, garam marsala, and red pepper. Heat through. Place in heated serving dish and garnish with reserved halibut, eggs, and parsley.
